First, cut the card board to the size you want your cloth or bracket to be. Along the top and bottom, mark a line every 1/4 an inch. On the line, cut in about 1/4 an inch. Take the end of one ball of yarn, and string it into the cut marks, but not going around the back of the card board. Here is an example:
Notice that the string is not bending the card board. You have now created a loom for your weaving. Cut the string and tape the ends on the back. Then, cut another length of string, about arms length and weave under first string on your loom. This top string is called a weft string. Pull until end of your weft string until it is about to slip through the first string on the loom. Weave the weft string, or weaving string in a under over pattern. When you get to the end of the line, loop around the end string. If the top row started with the Weaving string over the loom string, do the opposite on the next line. Repeat until string runs out or you want to change colors. here is a half finished weaving:
At the end, tie all of the strings and pull cloth off of loom. To make a bracelet, tie ends together.
